So yeah, gatchaman crowds, it's kind of like power rangers where they beat up aliens to protect the citizens till they bring in a new comer Hajime who switches everything up and does everything in a peaceful way.
Needless to say, the characters in this anime are just plain annoying in voice tone. Something tells me english dub would sound better but there are a few good voices like the villain. Speaking of which, the villain reminds me a lot of Kefka from FF 6 which is rare.
If you can get past the annoying characters like I did, there is something here to enjoy as the story for this anime gets pretty good. Only bad thing is the ending which leaves a lot unanswered and raises tons of questions, but I herd the DVD release is suppose to provide a better ending.
So yeah, can't recommended this unless you're looking for something different. but I will admit the theme song is catchy:
