I was born September 8th, 1987. I was first introduced to gaming by my cousin at the age of 3. He was living with my grandparents at the time so I was always constantly visiting and given opportunities to play his games, of which he owned several NES titles, but the one I most vividly remember playing the most was Mega Man 2-- Even making it as far as Bubble Man all on my own, but never being able to beat him.
In 1992, I got a Super Nintendo for Christmas along with Super Mario World, Zelda: A Link to the Past and Mario Paint. This was the first console I owned that I could say was my own as my brother DID own a NES, but he kept it locked up in his room and I rarely got to play it.
Christmas 1994 rolled around and I received Gameboy+Zelda: Links Awakening bundle from my Grandmother, which kicked off my fascination with handheld gaming, which admittedly isn't as strong as it is with consoles, but I still love it. I also received Mega Man X and Gradius 3 that year from "Santa".
I owned pretty much every major console going forward: The Playstation, Nintendo 64, PS2 and etc. I basically go where the games I want to play are, and they are typically with Nintendo and Sony.
I play a little bit of everything but my favorite genre by far is the jRPG, though I will dip my feet in the wRPG pool from time to time.
I play a ton of Life Sims as well; Games like Harvest Moon, Animal Crossing and the like.
I run a gaming Youtube channel called CHANNEL 90. I upload HD videos of games from every gen. Sometimes full playthroughs, others just boss battles.
The theme I have going is "VCR OSD/1990s Television Programming", which explains the blue coloring and TV-like "Coming up next" videos.
