You're right. This will make it where you can buy that awesome game that came out day of and download it before you get home. Wont help me though since I don't have a cell phone and I really don't care too log into steam on anything other then my laptops.

I close it all outside of when I had vlc up to have my musics when I played TF2. This is one of the reasons I hate BF3s battle log, anyone with BF:BC2 would know they had most of it in game and had a stable in game server browser.

Beth is good about updating the games they make with bug fixes, other wise they would have lost pretty much everyone due to how most of em are almost unplayable from the bugs.

I've never herd of EA level trolling but a number of source games will block you from playing them if you have a VAC ban if the same version is used by the other game(Before L4D2 a VAC ban would block that account from games like TF2 and CS:S). I moved to PC, still have my Wii but I like what I can get on steam and not need a TV. I go back to ninny every new Fire emblem though, so if FE3DS comes stateside I'll get one.

I was around for the SNES. I must honestly say I don't know anyone with a PS3 and I don't really care what games look like but it isn't smart letting Ninny and maybe MS get a head start.

And this is why piracy will never die... You make a vary good point, what will go down when the PSN closes? XBOX live? Steam? This is why company's need to think about what people will play 20 years from now, not this years FPS flavor of the month. There's a game I was trying to get to work on...

I've played Phantasia, Destiny(psp), and tales of the world(psp). Phantaisa (SNES version) was the first games I used a translation for if I remember right, that would have been 6 or so years ago.

Ogre Battle worked on the snes :P. Really there's no question to it given that anyone can make a game and make it avable. Then there's the fact of emulation, meaning you can play pretty much anyhting 10+ years old.

To me steam has helped bring PC into compation with home consoles and with the indie sceen growing fast it'll keep going. PC was never gonna die but some of the big guys might have left it seeing consoles as the larger market.

I miss Rare :(. But anyhow a lot has been going on for ninny what with JPN going under water and the Yen getting to strong vs other currency(at lest that's what some say). But then there's where they shot there own foots by not putting out games here in the states and the dev cost of the Wii U...
