Hi, I'm a veteran member of this forum, which was formerly known as "DS Ultimate," then "Nintendo 3DS Community". I joined DSU at the age of 13, when the Nintendo DS was new. My passion was hacking the launch title game "Super Mario 64 DS" using the Action Replay--and that's how I discovered this forum!
I quickly became a dedicated member of DSU/N3DSC and I made a lot of friends, some of whom I still speak with (Porkman, GreenWolf, DarkYoungLink and Duckdude). I still have a deep, nostalgic fondness for the sense of community that I experienced through the DS console, and part of that happened here. Eventually, I stopped visiting this forum less and less, as many of the members left and the forum adopted a new personality.
Off screen, I did the unthinkable and I became an adult! I started living on my own before I even turned 20, and didn’t have the budget for video games, so the WiiU just came and went (apparently, I didn't miss much). This is when I mostly had to stop gaming, and watched Dashie and Game Grumps to cope. Then, a couple o'years later, my job took off, I was able to nab one of those Nintendo Switches. Being able to expand my library of games again completely renewed my passion for gaming and community!
