Your most hated game of all time

I would say Myst, tried to beat it but just ended up beating my brain to mush.

Any Sonic game before the 3DS's time :/ (never played anything after)

I can't say that I have a "most hated game of all time". I've enjoyed all the games that I have.

If I am not sure if I'm going to like a game, then I'll rent it before I buy it. Especially since games cost $50 to $60 a piece these days.

LIMBO - it's a love & hate situation. I love the challenges but I hate it because it's so depressing and I hate the ending.

Ninja Gaiden 3(the first release).I hate it for the purpose that it is so god damn hard to beat it to the point where I feel it is impossible. They had to make a new release to make the games easier because it was too hard to finish it

There are several games that I will actually would not play again willingly. My most hated perhaps is Shadow the Hedgehog ps2 standalone game, It was an atrocious attempt to exploit the popularity of Shadow among edgy kids and a terrible game by itself:
a clumsily designed Sonic Adventures with worse stages and awkward controller.

My second one is a close contender with Shadow the hedgehog for how many hours I sank in that piece of rubbish, quite shameful to spend so many hours in a game you hates. Anyway, that game is not any other than The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion; Its redeeming qualities (Shivering Isles, Cydoriil landscapes and Imperial city, some neat quests) are overshadowed by a weird level scaling that is all over the place, bad perfomance, inane main quest, ludicrous AI, generic copy pasted dungeons etc. You can notice Its huge flaws with only playing a couple of hours, I didn't allowed to bother me but after a hundred hours to finally realize It gets worse after the early game.

Minecraft. 100% overrated game in my opinion, with lots of private servers looking to siphon money off kids. I absolutely despise pixel graphics in 3D, I just find it disorienting and a lame attempt at being "retro" while saving money on graphics artists at the same time.

I would like to say I hate Mega Man, but I don't hate the game because of the gameplay. I hate it because of my inability to clear stages. But I was quite young back then and I think I can do it now.
However I absolutely hate games which use the color match concept (Candy Crush Saga for example). I also hate games which have a certain level of Pay2Win factor involved.

Age of Conan. All games pre-release have devs that hype their game, overmarket their game, exaggerate features. On the other side there are a bunch of fairly big ticket games that launched broken.
But the amount of deceit and outright lies in the months leading up to the release of AOC were astounding from the dev team. Not only were they the most arrogant a**holes about promoting their game, they ended up releasing a very broken game without many of the features and bug fixes they promised beta testers. During the last months of beta, when players voiced concerns about the major bugs we were finding... they assured us there was a big patch coming at launch that would fix everything. But the game that went live was exactly the Beta we had been playing for months.

I'll agree with on Minecraft, although I am a bit older than most of the people who play it. I initially loved the basic concept of it, but the graphics just drove me away.

I don't hate Minecraft, although I can't really understand its popularity. I mean, I can understand a game with crappy graphics being popular if it has a good story, but Minecraft seems to me like an open-end package of boredom.

Super Meat Boy. I saw it as a free game on the xbox live gold, so i got it and they said "this is a rage game." I've never raged at a game before, so i thought "oh this won't be that bad". Boy was i wrong. I played that game for one day and I uninstalled it. My thumbs were hurting from spamming a and trying to get pass insanely IMPOSSIBLE LEVELS. It's so dark sometimes too ,and you can't even see your character. Maybe my bandage girlfriend should just accept her new fetus man.

It's popular precisely because it's insanely difficult. Platformer players are weird people sometimes :p
