I think 128GB and Micro SD Memory slot which can handle at least a 128GB memory card is the minimum amount of space which should be included on smartphones, and tablets which are advertised as Good for Gaming because mobile games are becoming bigger in size, and more people are playing console emulators on their mobile devices.

I say at least 128GB, thats how much I have in my smartphone right now for music alone. Though at this point TB should be a standard.

I agree TB should be the standard since a lot of 3D games with HD graphics are being released for mobile devices and tablets. Modern RPG, MMORPG, and other games with many levels and side quest can use a lot of storage space.

IF there is any availability of storage of Smartphones and Tablets I would go for 160gb but I don't think there is none nd so I will go with everyone else and say 128gb.

As much as you can get. Having little storage can suck.
That's probably true.
Your price segment should also be taken into consideration, but I agree that 128 GB should be enough. Would work definitely for me at least.

Honestly, this really depends on the person and their gaming needs. From experience I've been able game with just a 8gb smartphone that had a 32gb sd card (granted most of my games were basic and emulators/roms). For my W10 tablet; I only had 32gb, but I was able to play Blitz Brigade on it and I installed a 128 gb sd card and made my Steam client portable. So I'm able to play my tiny library of games just off that sd card.

I'd probably need at least 16gb. Games + music. I mostly play rhythm game on my phone (eg VOEZ, Cytus, Magic Piano, and such). Not much on other heavy games with 3D. I played CoC and Clash Royale once. I got bored of it now. 16gb probably would suffice for now.

If you intend to play games with high graphics and such you will need as much as you can get.On my iPad I have 16GB and 8 is occupied by 3-4 games. Most good graphics games take 1-2 GB but the updates add a lot to it and you will find yourself out of space

That entirely depends of the games requirements in regards of hardware and storage. Most Vaporware and ported classics don't even reach 100 megabytes of file size; for example, I'm currently playing the Android port of Dragon Quest 3 in my spare time and its size is a measly 80 Mb. Thus if you are only into classics, pixel art and general 2d indie games, a cheap SD card of 16-32 Gb will
suffice to store a hefty library in there.

I agree if you are mostly into 2D games, and Retro games, a smaller size SD card like 8-32 GB will be enough space for storing games.

When I first got my phone, I made the mistake of thinking that a 32GB SD card would mean that I wouldn't have to worry about having enough space - boy was I wrong. I didn't realize that without internal storage, I couldn't have all the apps and games that I wanted. The next phone I buy, I'm going to buy one with 32GB internal storage for sure just so I don't have to worry about having this issue anymore. I'd rather have too much space than not enough.

Getting a 128 Gig phone should be MINIMUM if you are plannning to game on it. My iphone has only 8 Gigs right now, so i can only afford to keep hearthstone on it for the time being. If you can, the newes phones offer huge space for storage and those can be bought and used. If opyou're going to game, an iPhone 6s+ would do you some good.
