Make no mistake, robots are coming for jobs. Fast food companies have pretty much already told us they intend to replace staff with robots. (They don't want to pay staff $15 an hour, they'd rather fire them and get a robot to do it for free.) After that it won't be long before other jobs start to be affected too.

Hopefully the government steps in at some point and stops it.

It is so funny you said that, these guys have there hand in the governments pocket so maybe not all? but the majority of them will get away with in MD is on of them for sure.

It's unlikely the government will do anything.

The government is about 4-5 years behind when it comes to tech. So they're just going to get broadsided by this. By the time they are ready to deal with it, it's going to be too late. There is a slim chance they'll notice earlier when unemployment rates start to shoot up. But even if they do it'll be quite some time before they could actually do anything.

I'm glad I was born when I was.

OMG ! This is awesome . I think this should be published in the market . It helps other people . Especially those who are much busy and are that much busy that they even can't make foods to eat . Yes a Nice Robot . Government should help that people to grow the robot on the country .

Well, I wouldn't mind this but then again, people would lose their living if this goes on. I hope people can work out something and I like this robot a lot now ^^

I think that these robots can help some people, who can't cook or are disabled, earn money by buying a robot, and selling the food which the robot cooked . The owner need to do is buy a robot, hot dogs, electricity, rent a small building, etc to sell hot dogs for people who want to buy a cooked hot dog, but don't want to cook it themselves, or buy a robot to cook it for them.

But, some poorer people may need to sell their possessions like their car or home, or take out a loan from the bank, their parents, family, and friends to afford renting a restaurant, chairs, robot, meat, and other expenses needed to start a restaurant with a robot chef.

There would still be other human jobs like restaurant owner, parking attendant, waiter, robot repair, robot cleaning, health inspector, meat factory worker, and farmer which are needed for running a restaurant and producing meat which will still be done by humans in the future because it is sometimes easier and cheaper just to hire a person to do the work, or do it yourself, or ask a family member like your son or daughter where they work for free or below minimum wage.

I also don't see food trucks, roadside hot dog and food stands being replaced by robots because a lot of food trucks, roadside hot dog stands are owned and run by the owner, so it is cheaper just to stand by the side of the road, and use a stove to manually cook hot dogs and burgers when someone orders food.
