Steve Jobs introduced Halo to the world

Hrmmm, interesting. I wonder how well the Halo series would have done on Apple or if the Xbox would have survived without Halo?

That's actually a very good question. As for the Halo series being on Apple, it wouldn't have happened... they've only supported pretty basic games over the years and I just don't see Halo thriving very well with Apple since it wouldn't have gotten the attention to detail it deserved. As for the Survival of Xbox I think it would have been quite a struggle if Halo had never existed since Gears of War didn't even come out til what, 360? Honestly the only game I ever bought for my Xbox original was Halo 1 and Halo 2.

I think there is a chance for Halo to survive with Apple since there are a lot of Apple computer users.

Apple's more expensive computers like the Mac Pro can run Halo, and other games.

If the game is good on an Apple Mac, there probably be enough Apple users who will buy the game. Apple can also release the game for Windows, and Linux like Unreal Tournament and Quake 3 which are compatible on Windows, Mac and Linux.

I think if Halo did not get release for the Xbox, the Xbox would of have fewer gamers, or may not still exist because Halo was one of the few games which made the Xbox 1 worth getting. In the past, people mostly bought a Playstation, Playstation 2, Gamecube, and N64 because they had a lot of good games for them.

Well, that's a vaguely horrifying thought. Not to say Apple isn't good at things.. But gaming?

Let's just all take a moment to appreciate the fact that Microsoft does know how to keep a good game franchise progressing.
