Different Software

They repeatedly told me that if I convert our community to XenForo, they will leave, so... I probably won't...

I call their bluff.

I wouldn't recommend mybb because it's not responsive by default and you will have to search for good quality themes for mobile devices...it can be a pain

I don't know how much you pay for hosting, but you could easily move to IPB for just $20 per month on their cloud hosting plans. I think they would even convert MyBB to IPB for you. You don't need to buy the license for the script as long as you host the forum on their servers.

Well, I use godaddy hosting. It costs around 150 $ and that's just 12.5$ a month o_O

GoDaddy certainly don't have a good reputation for web hosting. Domains I hear they do a bit better at, though yeah, their business practices aren't the best.

Well i have been satisfied with hostgator thus far well exempt for now. i am paying them $7.96 a month for unlimited every thing lol but the other day when i signed in to my cpanel i see a pop up that my backups are to large i need to pay extra for back up  but i am paying for unlimited i guest unlimited no longer limited.

Hostgator is just a step up from godaddy really.

Geek Ghost Hosting does offer plenty of unlimited features.

There is no such thing as unlimited hosting. The companies that claim they can offer unlimited hosting plans are just lying and overselling resources. Of course, the amount of resources that they offer in their "unlimited" plans differs from company to company.
