Yeah... This request seems a little selfish to me too. It probably wasn't meant to be, but even so.

Pokemon Platinum was released in March 2009, four years ago. It is not part of the current generation of Pokemon and thus it is impossible to battle with all the new Pokemon, items, and abilities that have been added in that time.

Please keep in mind that our community offers many services and contests. We try to accommodate as many users as possible. That being said, making our gym challenge for Pokemon Platinum would exclude everyone who has purchased a Pokemon game in the past four years. If you would like to participate, grab a used copy of BW or BW2 and we would be glad to battle you any time. Heck, we can even help trade you the Pokemon you want to train.
