never thought about this happening. Pretty neat but... it costs $250.

I think Wireless HDMI is most useful for using to watch video from a device like a PC, console , Cable TV box, etc in another room with a TV or monitor.

Well HDMI cables are not cheap as well. With that said I am sure prices will go down at some point.

I got a 3 feet HDMI cable for $1 at a dollar store, and it works at displaying video and transmitting audio from my mini PC to a TV. There are 6 feet HDMI cables for $1-5 on eBay. For 1080P and lower resolution video, cheap cables work good enough to transmit video and audio without slowdown problems in my experience.

Nice to see it's going wireless but I'm not gonna pay 250 bucks for it when a cable cost 5 bucks lol

If I had a lot of long reaching devices I might get this, but right now all my HDMI stuff is right next to its display.

I think this will not work for video devices in another room which uses remote controls like a cable tv box, and DVD player, so users would need to buy a remote control extender which can be expensive as well or go back to the device to press a button when pointing the remote at the box.

Wireless HDMI maybe best for tablets and smartphones which people move around a lot, or want to use a bigger screen without using a long HDMI cable.

I can't wait for the future when this tech becomes affordable, I am done with cables! Behind my TV I have cables for my stereo, PS4, Switch dock, and router. All of these have a power cord and at least one more cord coming out of them. I can't wait for the wireless electricity revolution to hit as well. Sell me a TV cabinet that only requires me to place a device on it for it to transmit power please! They've been showing this technology off at CES for a while now.

I know cables can be messy, but I rather have cables than millions of signals in the air.

I would have cables as well since all those signals in the air may have bad effects, and cause signal interference with cell phones, cordless phones, wi-fi, and remote controls which users need to use to do important stuff like talking to a costumer, boss and manager at a workpkace while the user is at home while on a cordless or cell phone.
