How do you relax/blow off steam when mad?

Sometimes the simpliest things are the best.
Sometimes i will just take a bath or just listen to music.
Also, a nap can be good at times.
 
:gamerage:  I try not to get mad. It makes my blood pressure rise. But if I need to blow off steam due to being angry. I meditate and do yoga as well. I find that expelling pent up negative energy is a great way to turn on endorphines in my brain which gives me a feeling a relief and all around great feeling. Doing it this way, I don't need to us chemicals to make me feel better. Yaaaay.
 
Well I use to hit walls in order to calm down, but I found that my fists would hurt after that. Now I will usually just yell some sort of battle cry and then sit down and meditate. I kind of wish I would have discovered meditation a long time ago, it would have saved some walls.
 
I play fighting games or just exercise. I found that playing Injustice: Gods Among Us or Mortal Kombat always helps me blow off steam when I am mad. Also, if I feel like physically punching something, I will just go jogging or do push-ups or something like that, to calm down.
 
You're going to think its weird but for two months now I've recently taken up yoga to clear my mind and it really works!!!
 
I isolate myself and concentrate on the internet or games where I can be myself.
 
I usually listen to music that fits the mood. Rarely anything uplifting. I think it's because it's almost like venting accept someone else is coming up with the words in a more colorful. Recently I've taken to also writing my rage down into a journal or going for a walk. 
 
Whenever someone gets me mad I usually like to confront them head on and try to come to an understanding or resolution right away.  If this proves impossible I usually just walk away make is a point to breathe and carry on with whatever I must do.  If I'm home I would probably just sit back and watch a movie or listen to some music.  If I'm outside I would walk it out. 
 
music is like a cure with side effects to me. So i dont listen to music.
I scratch papers with pens, spend time in solitude..and play games.
 
Normally, I'll read a book. That usually takes my mind off whatever I'm mad at. Plus, I'm normally reading a lot anyway.
 
A difficult question especially if you're really angry. I have noticed that it's road rage for me most of the time. And many times when I'm pissed off with lousy driving , I try to double think who was right or wrong because it's hard to go on rage and stop it. So I double check on myself and try to be rationale, in that way by temper is controlled. Same thing that I do when I'm angry in the house or at work, I let my reason rule me first, being cool, and it pays off actually.
 
I play games to relax my self and keep my cool. It could really help me a lot on pouring my anger out of me.:mad:
