Would you lie for a free Xbox One?

Yeah! I totally would! But I wouldn't be lying because I really do love my X-box. I have not played the Playstation 4 so I can't really vouch for that.

Hell yeah, I would. I mean, why would anybody care about what I prefer anyway? I am not famous. I am not a big streamer or big YouTube personality. I am just a normal gamer that loves playing new games. Technically that little lie is worth almost $300 which is quite a lot considering the actual lie itself is harmless. It doesn't hurt anybody. I am sure that everybody lied about much worse things in life than which console you prefer more.

So, when can I get this deal done?

I would NOT but I wouldn't knock someone who does. It's a new Xbox for goodness sake. I see people on fiverr advertising that they'll do a made-up youtube review for money. I agree with that the guy said above^^..... does it really matter? Its not like you're reviewing a crappy product that people don't like. Everyone loves the xbox and would probably agree with your review. Who's it hurting anyway? AND you get to walk out with a free console. SCORE!

You mean those obvious plants in the audience during these events, where they cheer everything for one brand and totally ignore/boo the other competition? I guess if I'm gonna be seen on camera doing it, then they can probably keep the Xbox. I'd rather not look like a sell out or a hired actor trying to sell something to the audience when CLEARLY the audience and the fans seem to think otherwise. It's pretty clear when they show something terrible but the plants are still standing up and cheering, wearing the shirts and all that, while everyone else was booing or not reacting.

Meh, I don't have a youtube channel that's widely popular and my personal opinion has no influence over anyone else. I won't be sacrificing my morals by saying I love a console even if I don't. I mean, I'm not harming anyone with my opinion and no company is going to weep tears of pain over my betrayal, this is no anime.

I get a positive benefit over a completely harmless lie that doesn't sacrifice my morals and doesn't affect anyone negatively, and probably won't influential anyone else into thinking like me.

Damn right I'm getting that free xbox, watch me.

Spot on! This situation shouldn't even be a moral issue! Celebrities endorse products every day. We know that they don't use them. It's not like you're telling people things about the product that aren't true. People say little white lies all the time, whether it be on a job application, college essay, or when you're in a meeting with Johnny Law. It's up to you to decide whether a product is worth buying. If all your viewers end up getting to enjoy the entertainment of video games, then it's a win-win. Times are tough and I'm willing to do a lot more stuff for money/products.

Yeah because I doubt anyone would care that I liked a Xbox more than a PS4. Do I still get to use a PS4?

Pretty much agree. First, I don't have a YouTube channel for gaming. If I did, I don't think it would even be popular enough for people to even care about my review liking the Xbox more than PS4.

Generally speaking, I'm not a liar. But this is more so suggestive promotional advertising rather than lying (lol).

I actually won a free Xbox One S in a Raffle at my job. :)

I gotta be honest, I wouldn't lie to get one. No, It's not because of any moral code of conduct or whatever, either. I wouldn't because I never cared enough about the Xbox One to even want one to begin with. I'd probably lie to get that sick @$$ controller, but not the console itself. Even then, I wouldn't be lying, because I legitimately like the Xbox One controller more than the PS4 controller.

What if I already have an Xbox One. Would I still need to lie? I guess I could lie to get a free one so I can send it to a family member or a friend as a gift.

Lying is wrong. You shouldn't lie unless it's to save someone's life or something. It's kind of like that thing Jesus spoke about regarding the works and the law.
