This is troubling that countries like North Korea can steal US Cyber Weapons, and possibly buy stolen malware files on the dark web if the robber decides to sell stolen cyber weapons like viruses and malware on the dark web.

I think Cyber weapons like computer viruses and malware are difficult to prevent from being stolen/copied. A person like a computer technician with a USB storage drive, and access to the computers which store the cyber weapon can copy the files onto a USB drive, and use their smartphone to send the files to another country in a few minutes if the files are small.

I think if Microsoft spent more time on improving the security of Windows, and companies hired skilled computer security staff with certifications like the Comptia Security+, and Network+ certificates, WannaCry would not of broke so many Windows PCs at workplaces like the NHS.

There is a chance that a spy or soldier from another country like the US or UK sneaked into North Korea to use a N. Korean internet connection, or use a North Korean proxy server or VPN to upload the WannaCry virus to the internet by sending millions of e-mails which were infected by the WannaCry virus.

It is also not very hard to mask an I.P. address to look like a North Korean I.P. address.

There is a chance that North Korea bought the WannaCry virus from someone working inside the US government, or hired a non-North Korean hacker to steal WannaCry.
