When Sony does launch the PlayStation 5? What do you think it will look like? Small and compact or large and wide?

Probably relatively compact. 4k/HDR support out of the gate. Hopefully able to play all PS4 games.
I think they will go with something slim and sleek as well as powerful that would challenge the XboneX.
Maybe instead of wide, it could be long?
It probably look like a tablet with a controller attach to it like the Switch.
Sony won't go the way of the Switch. Not unless they attempt a second Vita.
I feel there is a chance that the PS5 will have either a touchscreen on the console like the Switch and some laptops and all-in-one PC like rhe MS Surface Studio AIO PC. The PS5 controller may have a screen like the Wii U tablet controller, or handhelds instead of a touchpad like the PS4 controller with a basic touchpad in rhe center of the controller.
Touchscreens are not as expensive these days. You can get a cheap 4 inch touchscreen smartphone for $30 on Amazon.
hrmmmm, no. Sony prides itself on the controller much like Microsoft, they won't throw a wide screen on the controller.
There is a chance that Sony may put a smaller screen on future consoles or controllers, and use the screen for simple data like the number of lives you have left in the game.
If they can't put that on the main screen then to put it on the controller is a really bad gimmick.
Some people may prefer info like the number of lives, badges, weapon info, and game scores on a small screen on the controller instead of always blocking small parts of the game's video. Playing games on a small screen on a controller is useful for when your TV is being used for watching TV, or unplugged/broken.
Touchscreen can be use as a touchpad. The one good thing about a touchscreen instead of a touchpad is that it is possible to change the wallpaper image and use apps like web browsers and chat apps. The touchscreen can also be used as an keyboard if you have a keyboard app installed on the controller's toucscreen.
A cube would be a nice shape for a console since it is less likely to tip over in the vertical position, and it uses less space. A handle bar may help some people know which side is the back.

I think PS5 would be a lot powerful but half the size and it would be slimmer. But for PS6, that would really be small, the size of PSP and 20 times powerful than the PS4.
why the hate for circles?
Circles are great, especially those specialised in games and music.
Though other media circles often release really good stuff too.
