Absolutely not. I can't go into detail, but it's one of the reasons my ex best friend isn't my friend anymore. What they did hurt me in a way that words and emotions can't describe.
Off that topic, it's the same with murder. If someone kills another person, I think they've pretty much forfeited all chances of redemption. I mean, people never change. If someone wrongs you, they're going to do it again. The only small example I can think of where *maybe* they can have redemption is if they shoplift or something like that, but it depends on the reason. If a man goes into an electronics store or a home improvement store and steals thousands of dollars worth of stuff, then no. However, if it's a man who stole a can of ravioli to feed his starving family, then maybe it's a little more forgivable.
Everyone deserves a chance and it also depends on your opinion about the other person.
If that person is someone I care deeply, then I would definitely forgive them....otherwise, there is no way, I could let anything slide easily.
So, the answer is....it depends.
