It's a new month! Winter nears its end! And new updates for the Gaming Latest forums.

Welcome to another update GL folks, we are into the third month of the year, E3 is just a few months away already and things seem to be going by fast! This will be another short update but please enjoy the following as we start with....

---- Of the Month ----

This month I decided to dedicate to テクニカル諏訪子 SuwakoMoriya for his continued activity here on the forum! Thank you and congrats!

Topic of the month goes to:

Every time violent video games are blamed

---- forum contests----

Just a reminder we have two contests currently going on!

Best Gaming Moments Contest

March Arcade Contest

Please be sure to give both your attention and if you have any questions feel free to ask :)

---- ads----

Just a heads up that a few ads will be popping onto the forum in the next few months, hopefully not many as these will fund GL 2.0 project. I'm sorry if this doesn't make the site look as nice but they shouldn't be up for too long pending how my schooling/job hunting goes.

Please bear with us in the meantime.

That's all for this update folks, thanks for being so active and please continue to enjoy the forum :)

---- Stats ----

We currently have 376,873 posts which in this past month we've made 819 posts. We currently have 6,891 members and in the last month we've gotten 12 new members!

I really hope the newbies would stick around and they are not some annoying spammers.
Congratulations suwako Chan!
Way to go!

Is it correct that the MotM widget in the sidebar doesn't change when you change your avatar?
I changed it right before the night or so, but my old avatar is still showing up while being updated everywhere else.

About the ads, why not to add Adsense to the site? You can earn a lot from it.
Only if you're on a higher tier, which you can only get after heavily negociations, which you can only make if you're really big.
I had AdSense before, and ended up removing it again since I ended up only earning $ 0.10 a year, and it annoyed all the forum members too.

I have premium ads on YouTube, but that's because I'm partnered with BroadbandTV.

I use Adsense in my blog: http://KodiBeginner.com and earn nice amount of money from it,
but I agree that you need a lot of traffic otherwise you will earn almost nothing.

I have a relatively new blog & forum with low traffic and earn more than that a day on some days. Only ran ads for a couple weeks also. I think either the system has improved or something, but I think it would be worth possibly trying here.

Could also be the content maybe?
Remember, Google is US-government controlled, so if you plan on hosting opinions that are not approved by them, they can still kill your revenue to nearly nothing.

Even though in my case it was all about video games and technology, so I guess the low revenue was mostly because of the tutorials for Linux and other open source software?
Not confirming, but seeing how much globalists are against freedom, it seems quite likely.
