Post all GL V2 Suggestions here

For me with the themes, the light theme is a bit too grey and the dark theme is a bit too black. I think we need to work the blue into it a little bit more. Such as having the category areas show as blue or something like that.

I'll have a skin suggestion topic soon to allow more details.

Logo!
Can we change the boring logo? Well, I know that it's simple and that is it's charm....but I would rather see a colorful and more cheerful logo.

Keep in mind that the vast majority of the people here are from North America and Europe, these 2 regions love to keep their assets as simplistic as possible (single colour, not too curvy, etc.).

I doubt it'll be something really colourful or whatever but we will likely get a new logo, I made this one very quickly when we made the name change.

what did you have in mind exactly?
Hmm may be a logo with gaming characters? It might attract decent attention if you include really popular ones.
By the way demon skeith, I can't connect to this forum, without changing my IP address. Would you mind taking a look at it?
I am getting connection timed out message.

PM me full details on your forum if you can.

Well I don't know, it's only based off my own observations.
I still prefer the transparent blur style over the single colour approach personally, but since I'm working in the command line a lot during the day, I really love how developers of ncurses-based applications style their apps like, even though it all looks as if it comes straight from the early DOS/Unix days.

Perhaps a user level (a number instead of just "Full GL Member" banner thing) based on the number of posts and/or ratings and/or throphies and/or game winnings at the GL arcade on GL V2 would be a nice feature.

yeah something like that in addition to the banner.

I am not so sure about the improvements as it depends on the, feasibility of the software as well.
How about some
group promotions?
