Mobile phones killed handheld gaming

I'm not sure, but Fortnite is not available on Linux nor it's playable via Wine, nor it's in the Chrome Web Store.
Same goes for the other games, except I'm not sure whether they're playable via Wine or not.

It is possible to stream games like Fortnite with a Remote desktop program or online game streaming service which is available for Android, Windows, and other operating system. But, remote desktop and online game streaming services can be slow, and not good for people with a slow internet connection, or don't own a Windows PC for using for remote desktop to play Fortnite on another computer.

I played a few online streaming video games, and they were playable in single player mode, but I think they are not as good for multiplayer games with a lot of players.

I think if you have faster ping times for your ISP, and fast download and upload times, playing streaming games is okay for playing most games.

Nothing wrong with playing on the mobile phone. Can you imagine lugging all your handheld gadgets everywhere you go?
I always have a backpack with me, or at the very least my laptop suitcase.
So in other words, I can.
In fact, I use my Nintendo Switch while going to work and back every day since it takes 57 minutes each way, given there's somewhere to sit down (spoiler alert: very rarely).

I think carrying around many handheld gadgets is not a good idea in some places like bigger cities like Detroit and Chicago in America where there are robbers who steal smartphones, tablets, iPods/MP3 players, and digital cameras.

Sometimes cheap tablets and smartphones are use as gaming devices because people are afraid a robber will steal their nicer and more expensive devices like iPhone, Samsung Note 8, and expensive gaming laptop or tablet when they use it in public like on a crowded bus.

Carrying large bags to carry many handheld devices, and other things like books is harder in a very crowded bus, and very small cars like Smart Cars where the amount of storage space is very small.

Agreed. Where I'm from, carrying those devices is like painting a dollar sign on your shirt and yelling "Rob me! I'm hella rich! Lookit all my fancy gadgets and stuff!".

Where I live I can simply leave phone and wallet on the table in public, go to the toilet, and it'll still be there untouched.
And if I happen to leave that place and any of it is still on the table, a random person would run after me just to return it to me.

And my phone is an iPhone by the way.

The police where I live used to warn people not to wear headphones and use smartphones in public because of smartphones being stolen in public places. Sometimes using too many fancy gadgets in public places in cities with a lot of robberies can also attract robbers to follow people to their home where there are more fancy electronics, money, and jewels inside a home.

The only downside I see with gaming on a mobile phone is when it runs out of batteries. Unless you have more than 1 mobile phone where you can access your game account or you have a power bank with you.

Running out of batteries can be a problem with mobile gaming. But, I feel running out of battery while gaming is becoming less common because more gaming themed smartphones and more expensive smartphones come with larger longer lasting batteries, and the cost of power banks are now more affordable.

More public places like libraries and colleges let users borrow USB chargers for charging smartphones and tablets.
