Bill Cosby was sentenced three to 10 years in a state prison on Tuesday for sexually assaulting a woman at his home in 2004, reported by Variety.
Judge Steven T. O'Neill from Montgomery Country denied Cosby's request for bail pending his appeal. Cosby will need to serve the minimum time of three years under Pennsylvania law before he can be up for parole.
Imagine going back to the 80's and telling someone Bill Cosby will go to prison for rape. No one would believe you. I can hardly believe it. Then again, people on camera aren't the same as off camera, and this is another sad example of this.
Well, he's 81 years old to begin with. Plus, jail isn't meant to be fun. He's there as punishment for a crime that he's committed and he has to do the time that he's been given. If he didn't want to go to jail then he shouldn't have forced himself on another woman.
