Yes, I feel some cell phones these days are too thin and lightweight where they may break if someone accidentally sits on them, or step on them with their feet.

Well, I'm not particularly rough with my phones so I'm not sure if I've really noticed.
yeah, not a bad thing but when it comes to damage they are more easily broken.
I am not rough with my phone as well, but I feel accidents can happen, so having a more durable phone is better.
I feel some thicker phones may also be less likely to overheat because there is more air space for heat to escape through the speaker holes, microphone hole, headphone jack,sim tray, and other tiny holes which are on a phone.

I always have had some kind of a case on my phone, even though I'm not really rough with my phones. I do that in the even of accidents, mainly involving me dropping my phone.
Cell phones have bee trending in the direction of thinner and lighter for about 10 years now. Nothing new here.
There seems to be more rugged/tough smartphones made for construction workers, or people who go hiking a lot. But, some of these rugged/tough smartphones may not get updated often with the latest operating system updates.

I always use a back cover for my phone....if I take it out...it looks too fragile and I am afraid someone with good enough strength might be able to break it in half.

I prefer having a hard protective case on a phone to prevent someone from bending it, and hard cases are more affordable than phone repairs.
I always prefer hard protective covers. I have Gorilla glass and a hard flip responsive cover for my phone. I don't remember how many times my phone fell from my hands. .. if it isn't for that protection, I might have had to get rid of it a long time ago because of the repairs and such.

Yea, when I am in crowded situation I fear those phones won't survive, they might bend and break easily.

This does look like a good phone for users who mainly use their phone for texting and voice calls. Unfortunately, good flip phones are becoming harder to find in stores in North America.
