What do you think about foldable smartphones cus lately samsung revealed their foldable phone? I don't think they will be a hit among the consumers but may only be a trendy thing about millenials. I don't really like the design and the rounded edge on the left side, I still prefer the old design of a phone, also when the foldable phone unfold, it is wide, which is a very big advantage for most app cus the screen will be square instead of the traditional shape.

It looks cool but they could do it ala NDS/3DS with 2 screens instead, as it is a lot cheaper.
 
I think they are good for people who need to use both a tablet, and smartphone, but don't want to carry them both.
 
I like the foldable phones but if they have a very different architecture then i might not like them. More like if the screen separation is visible quite a bit, then I might not like them.
 
Foldable phones can be nice for viewing some videos and games where folding the screen in a 90 degree L angle and other angles gives the video a unique and more realistic visual effect compared to watching the video on a flat surface like a regular flat smartphone screen.
 
I think it would be cool if these phones are more flexible, so you can turn the screen into a Cylinder/tunnel shape which can give certain videos a tunnel video effect like looking into a pipe or tunnel.
 
I would rather prefer if the screen folded in to hide the screen and become smaller. Rather than opening up to become a tablet.
