Gritty action anime. I like cartoony action like Dragon Ball, Kurokami, One Punch Man, My Hero Academia, all that, but I don't like anime where the art style is harsh. So anime like Fist of the North Star, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, things like that. For some reason they don't hold my interest.

I'm opposite tho I love slice of life anime, especially not in school settings. For me anime with boring characters makes the whole anime boring. Even if the anime events and pacing is boring if theres a good and enjoyable character, I'll love to watch it and not drop it.
Slice of life, if done really right it could work but generally its boring.
