The internet has ruined a lot of things. If you don't find a way to evolve, the world will go on without you. That's pretty bad that they can't keep a CEO.

That is bad. Honestly though I don't know how Gamestop can go with the changes. Sure they can offer more geek stuff but it wouldn't be enough.

Well, they mentioned in the video that GameStop has already been selling other things besides just video games/consoles etc. Apparently that hasn't helped.

It's mostly junk, nothing really good plus most GS stores are small. It's very crowed at my local store and that's before you get anyone in there.

I feel big retail stores like Wal-Mart are also causing Gamestop to have fewer game buyers. Amazon, eBay, Steam, and Craigslist are causing more people to buy games online.

Many people may not have $60 to $80 to buy games which cause people to spend less money on games, and find cheaper hobbies like reading, and watching DVD movies which they borrowed for free from the local library.

What I think doesn’t help, are how many there are. Anyone that’s been to a city knows that it feels like there’s one on every street corner. I’ve been to a couple of malls that had multiple GameStop’s inside, or one where the mall had GameStop, and literally across the street, was another GameStop.

big cities would need more stories, but not really across from one another :p

I wasn’t saying there needs to be only one, but there are a ridiculous amount within a small radius. Maybe consolidate a couple into a bigger store. There are times when they purposefully spread out their inventory to make you go to a different store for different things. “We don’t have it, but you can walk across the street for it”.

that's simply bad corporate tactics.
