Are you concerned about handles, buttons, and doors breaking on PCs & Electronic devices?

I am somewhat concerned that buttons, handles, and doors like the CD-ROM drive door breaking on may computer, game consoles, and DVD/Blu-ray players.

Some TVs, laptops, and computers do sometimes last a long time, but I sometimes see laptops and other electronics with a broken hinge, buttons, battery doors which make using these devices more difficult or not possible until a button like the power button is repaired.

I feel electric cars may suffer from Electric car owners needing to replace the power buttons, powered lock buttons, motors for power windows, and other things before the car is not worth repairing anymore because the more expensive electric cars motor, battery, and steering system may last many years of constant use, but things like power buttons, powered door locks, powered windows, and handles are made of cheap plastic and thin metal.

I wish that laptop CD/DVD disc slots and door are designed to be more durable.

I feel SD card memory card readers dont look very durable.

On my old router which was always hot, I went to turn off the wifi for a reset and its button is the type you press in which clicks to lock and then click to unlock. Well it unlocked but the button melted a bit on the inside so it wouldn't click to turn back on. I was mad.

I would be mad as well if a router reset button melted and there was no way to turn it back ON. Using higher quality plastic and metal parts which won't melt wouldn't cost a lot of money.

I feel routers and modems are sometimes made poorly to earn more money by using cheap parts. The ISP and modem makers also make more money from selling expensive modems to users every few years. ISP renting cheap low quality modems which are worth less money, so the ISP earns more money per month when users rents cheap modem for many years.
