after reading this do you feel that kids should be banned from restaurants or at least their parents warned that if their kid(s) are acting that they be thrown out?

I personally would like to see young kids (6 and under) not allowed to enter restaurants as their screaming is like a bell ringing loudly in my head.

What do you think?

The restaurant can make a sound proof room for loud kids or a kids section which is far a way from adults.

I think if restaurants ban noisy kids this they might lose some of their customers. A restaurant should try to accommodate all kinds of customers to satisfy the most amount of people.

Certainly if they are loud. Apply the same to everywhere please. Screaming children in a shop drive me up the wall. If you can't control your kid don't bring it out.

Yeah, they're a major annoyance. Yuck. I prefer adults-only restaurants or pubs (though I don't even drink lol).

Personally I don't think they should be banned. Sure they can be annoying but a lot of the time it ends quite quickly. Fair enough if a baby cries it's because it has no other way to communicate a problem to its parents and that is more a parental fault for taking a baby into a strange and potentially uncomfortable situation like a loud restaurant or pub. I would not go as far as to bar kids under 6 etc. besides a bunch of drunks at the bar are WAY more annoying than a crying baby.

I don't think kids should be banned....but their parents should learn something.
They should make the kids behave and it's not an impossible task to begin with.

It should be the parents enforcing discipline on their children... but there are times when they end up crying, it will get even louder... I know what you mean DS
