How do you deal with toxic players in game. I currently play LOL and trying to climb, my main is support and whenever things goes rough, they blame me lol.

Well, the games that I play, aren't games that I play online. There do have a multi-player option on them so I can play with friends at my house but not with complete strangers online. So I don't really have to deal with this issue. That just seems like that takes all the fun out of the game and I wouldn't enjoy playing at all at that point. I would just not play with that person if they are going to blame you for anything and everything that goes wrong. But that's just the choice that I'd make.

Get a different partner?

I've never really played with PUGs/strangers, I've always had a group of friends playing with me since the PS3 and Xbox 360 days. We might drift off into different games on our own, but we generally pick the same big ones like Destiny or The Division.

If I really had to play with strangers, I make it a point NOT to add them unless they're not obnoxious. If I feel the slightest unease or animosity with them, I just leave the game as soon as they're done so I won't get any friend requests. Don't get me wrong, I'm not aloof about this; I'm just the type of person who can't say no to a friend request so it's better that I leave early.

But yeah, switch to a single player or play a 2-player co-op game instead.

I also play League of Legends and I have already encountered toxic players countless times. I even went to the point where I would not play LoL for several weeks because of the toxicity.

I watched a few videos on YouTube on how to deal with such people and, most of the time, they would just tell you to be passive about the situation. Turning off ALL CHAT absolutely helps since it gives you ignorance over toxic taunts (seriously, what's the point of talking to your enemies?). Another is to indirectly tell your team what to do instead of directing your instructions to a particular player. Some people just don't like being commanded and that's one reason they're toxic. Last advice I could give you is to just focus and play the game. Don't mind the toxic player. Just play the game and enjoy it.

Hope this helps! :)

Thanks! I appreciate it. So weeks have been past and yea I realize there's no point minding and stressing myself to those kind of players. I also just focused on getting better. I also give them chance to cooperate by not muting them all. There are some players I find friendly and willing to cooperate. :)

I agree with hana's thoughts, You don't have to stress yourself with these kind of people.

The best thing to do is to ignore it and keep playing as normal. The worst thing you can do with a toxic player is to react in any way because that's exactly what they are after. They want to annoy you.

There's times it may be funny but I'm like you....I don't need that in my life either. I would rather enjoy my life rather than deal with drama from someone being toxic.

Just mute them. I really mute everyone (except my friends) at the start of the game especially if I play someone like Blitz. I tend to get flamed at if I miss a hook lel. It will just be a distraction to you and might affect your performance. Communicate with pings and I even type in chat even though they are muted. Their actions will speak for it.
