No, I do not live near an airport.
Yes I live pretty close to a city airport which is quite active. Took some used to the noises from the planes. Especially after Covid when they started back up again.
No, but we do kind of live near close to train tracks which is just as bad.
No, I don't live near an airport. I wouldn't look for an apartment anywhere near an airport because of the noise of the aeroplanes lifting off and landing. It will always be disturbing my peace.
I am about 15 minutes from the airport and it is jointly owned by both the military and the state and we don't get any noise pollution from it.
Are you living 15 minutes drive or walk away from the airport?
A friend of mine lived like 20 minutes drive from an airport, when I'm on call with her and a plane flew over, it interrupts out call with loud noise.
It’s 15 minutes away if I drive. Walking wise it’ll be a lot longer. I wouldn’t even try walking to it. I’d have to walk on some very busy roads just to get there.
Luckily the noisiest thing I have to deal with is vehicles on the road of my house.
It's not safe walking on such busy roads. Something can go wrong at any moment. You're home is far from the airport, the noise won't disturb much.
Exactly. The only thing that I hear a lot is the train. The train goes near the airport I think. It’s not a public train though. It’s only used to transfer goods and things like that.
Trains are very loud especially when it's not these new gen speed trains.
I am a 15 minute drive away.
