Should is a stretchDepends on a lot of factors, but each day it should be worth more.
Isnt that usually the case sometimes?I've seen the price of a PS1 increase over the years. I've seen them sold at pawn shops for $100+.
Do you think a PS1 will become more valuable as time goes on?
Doubt they’ll be super valuable. There’s tens of millions floating around, so unless you have a boxed copy, sealed copy, or a limited edition, nobody’s sitting on a goldmine with a PS1.Hopefully not a lot, I gave mine a way a while back
Sadly there’s people that don’t realize that’s how collectible markets work. They see a news article of some old game fetching a ton of money and they think their regular copy of Super Mario Bros is worth $10,000 because it’s old.its future value can vary based on factors like model rarity and condition. Currently, standard PS1 consoles are valued at around $15, while rare editions, such as the Net Yaroze, can fetch up to $3,000.
Predicting exact values a decade from now is challenging, but generally, well-preserved, rare models tend to appreciate over time, especially among collectors.
