Giving your gift to another?

I don't know for any other person, but I find it very difficult to give anything that's given to me as a gift to another person no matter how small that item is. I have a sentimental attachment to anything that's called a gift.
 
I can't try such no matter how much the gift is worth. I have always held special attachment to gifts from people that I love.

What I say to myself is what happens when the person who gifted me asked about the gift like he or she have never seen me use it... What will I say?
 
It's a disrespect to the person who gifted you if you take the same gift and give it to another person. I'd be disappointed if anyone did that with my gift to them.

Well, if it's from my loved ones, yes I will cherish it but if I get something in a party or a gathering, I wouldn't really care about it.
 
I think it is okay to giveaway gift which are given to you by your workplace, store, and website.

I have sentimental value with the gift given to me by friends and family, so I dont give their gifts away.
