Would you like to own a house in another country... If possible?

I would love to... But I was told that maintenance can be a bit too much and no anyone can afford it and not to mention the risk of losing the property if somebody else claims it... Which could potentially lead to a long legal battle.
So, what do you guys think?

I feel like if I were to move, I would have to find a job in the area, and that means losing so many assets I have without needing to pay so much, so it would be stupid for me to, even if I wanted to.

It's not going to be permanent move.
More like a vacation house in some other country and you will have an excuse of checking the property to get some quality time!

I would love to if I had the money. Well initially I wanted one in both America and Japan but now I'm not so sure about the one in America.

O.o because of the global income declaration stuff?
I thought of getting a house in the UK but now...I am kinda rethinking about it.

Having a house in a foreign country is what I love to do, especially in a particular country. It's quite attractive for the experience one can have and as an investment too.

Yup! However I don't wanna to do that ...where I will end up paying the tax for the same income in two different countries.

Pretty much and just the climate of the US in general. Unless things change for the better, I don't know if I'll really come back to the US once I'm out.

That's true .
It's expensive to maintain the house as well and if you are not going to visit it ... All that much... Then there is no point in struggling to get it (_ _)/
