As most of you know, Battlefield 2042 was a disappointment when it first launched and that may be an understatement. They've changed some things and improved the game but it still doesn't feel like a proper Battlefield game. Anyone looking forward to see how they redeem themselves with the next BF title?

I am curious to see what they do, but never played one.

Wonder of they are going to add that laughable with totally wrong Air to Air combat and Air to Ground attack and unrealistic F/A - 18 Hornet play segment like in past Battlefield 3 lmao :

The Hornets are doing CAP/CAS mission carrying CAP/CAS Air to Air and Air to Ground Mission Weapon configs. You don't go directly into a close range dogfight with enemy fighters. First Command/AWACS will direct your squad to the location of target enemy fighters and you engage them in BVR (Beyond Visual Range) combat with your longrange AMRAAM Radar guided Air to Air missiles, and it's not solely your Rio or weapons system officer that's doing the targeting with AMRAAM, and it's the pilot that fires the Air to Air missiles. The same with the enemy fighters they will engage you in BVR too, and it's almost always be a head to head BVR combat situation. Then if both you and the enemy are still airborne and both of you are out of longrange AMRAAM missiles (Russian fighters got different Longrange Air to Air missiles) you go into phase II of the air to air combat. It's time for Close range Air to Air combat with guns and Aim 9x Sidewinder missiles. In this phase it's all the pilot that's doing the targeting and firing the AIM 9 missiles and the Guns. The Rio or Weapons System Officer helps the Pilot with spotting the enemy, telling the pilot the enemy's position and orientation. You never ever fly in a straight line in a close range combat. In the video, with the way he is flying the Hornet the guy and his Rio will never survive any air to air combat, especially if the enemy is an ace level combat pilot. And with the air to ground stuff that's totally not the way you deploy AGM 88 HARM Air To Ground missiles and JDAM lol. so many many wrongs.

One hopes they make it right.
