Duplicity

You can tell it's a bad movie cause Tyler Perry made it.

Yeah this film sucks. It's a drama about a police shooting that derails into an action flick and it does not work at all.

The characters are either one note or barely two dimensional, the story is very weighed down by the action, and the acting also isn't very good.

Overall, it's bad. That shouldn't come as a shock, I can't name you the last good Tyler Perry film.

Val

Excellent documentary. I was invested in this the entire time. It's a very well shot film. I really don't have much else to say, go watch this.

Seriously go watch it, it's a very good documentary.

Carjackers

It's fine I guess. The ADR is bad at times and the story wasn't that exciting or interesting but I guess I don't hate it.

I'm just bored if anything. You know the rest by now.

Peterloo

I was very interested in this film. But unfortunately I have come out of it disappointed.

The very first thing I noticed, I think this film was like thirty minutes longer than it needed to be. The film is around two and half hours long and it really didn't need that much screentime.

The second thing, these characters never really intrigued me. I can barely remember the main character and that becomes a problem for the ending.

Maybe this'll get a remake in a decade or so. The story itself could work, it just needs better pacing and characters.

Selah And The Spades

Not bad, not bad. It's well shot, acted, and written. I really don't have much else to say. It's a good coming of age film.

This was the director's first film as well, so congrats to Tayarisha Poe.
