Do you think Xbox is doomed?

With all the weird changes Microsoft has made to Xbox. Do you think it's days are numbered?

Personally? I think it might be if they don't right this ship. The increase to $30 for Game Pass Ultimate is a bit of a tall ask IMHO. What are your thoughts?

I honestly think they're doomed and it really sucks. I can see them going down the route Sega did, Microsoft claims they're coming out with a new console/pc hybrid next generation. I just don't see it selling well, at this point the Xbox consoles will never sell as well as Nintendo or Sony consoles. But there was a time where Microsoft really did things right, and that was with the Xbox 360.

Sega dropped out of the console business because they were constantly missing on every system they released. The 32X, the Saturn, the Dreamcast, all of those never came close to Genesis, plus there was a regime change in the early 2000s that suggested they go 3rd party overall. Microsoft hasn't said that just yet.

I don’t think Xbox is doomed. They’ve just been going through a slow phase at the moment. But, PlayStation really is really giving them heat right now.

I hope you're right, but with Game Pass Ultimate being $30/mo now. That's kinda agiant F.U. to their fanbase IMHO. Not to mention the $1000 handheld, and the fact their 5 year old hardware, the Xbox Series X INCREASED in price instead of getting cheaper 5 years later.
