MrBeast has an army of over a thousand people who clip his content, and he pays them $50 for every 100,000 views that their clips get.
Bloomberg spoke with the founder of Clipping, 23-year-old Anthony Fujiwara, about his startup that employs independent editors, who are then paid by MrBeast’s team. He detailed the importance of what they do for him — editing snippets of his YouTube shows that get posted on social media.
“People used to buy commercials on TV, billboards, radio time slots,” said Fujiwara. “Clipping is that for the modern era. It’s buying space and time on people’s phones while they scroll.”
Clipping pays its editors between $300 and $1,500 for every million views that a clip receives on social media. Clients pay the company a subscription fee that ranges between $2,500 to $10,000 a month — or sometimes even more.
The company has 23,300 contract editors who actually do the clipping, giving content creators like MrBeast the ability to constantly have their material clipped and go viral across the internet.
So far, Clipping has been a major success for Fujiwara. Bloomberg reports that the company generated around $7.7 million in sales so far in 2025, boasting an array of clients that range from record labels (OVO is listed on their website as a client) to popular streamers like IShowSpeed and Plaqueboymax.
Though MrBeast pays for Clippings’ services now, it looks like he’s getting into the clipping business himself. Last month, MrBeast launched the video clipping platform Vyro that connects editors with brands and creators.
That doesn’t appear to be the only major business move on MrBeast’s plate. On Oct. 13, he filed a trademark application for a banking app called MrBeast Financial. The banking services mobile app will provide cryptocurrency and investment banking services.
In addition to potentially having its own credit and debit cards, the app will also seemingly provide services like financial advice, financial planning, financial education, and microfinance lending.
