So according to another leaker a second star fox game is also in development for switch 2. Hopefully it's true and Krystal PLOT is in it lol

I think he's talking the design philosophy.

"Star Fox" is the base game going forward. This is the engine that'll be used going forward. Let me put it this way: Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Tears of the Kingdom are the same engine. The new Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake/Reborn project? Same engine.

Star Fox Adventures was panned during the lifetime of GameCube, because of no flying missions like Star Fox 64. There are a few flying missions, but they are small in scope. So, his idea is, bring that game - and merge it with the Star Fox 64 flying missions design.

Indeed and an open world Star Fox game could be great if designed right and not "empty" like the semi open world stuff in the recent metroid.

Should be a side scroller game, which I like best in the series. Hope it's good as dread.
