yaaay!

Judging from the teaser trailer with all the new voicework and graphics the new remake will be great! Wonder who will voice Zelda and the rest of Link's Waifu Harem PLOTs in this game lol hopefully they will add more voiced dialogue like they did with the Star Fox Remake...

I don't think we're getting VO for Link or anyone else for that matter.

Looking at community feedback, kind of agree I don't like the look of Link already, should be more cartoonish like the N64/Melee/3DS version of him.

Also again, why did we get a minute of thumb wrestling on the Direct but not more shown on this? Is Nintendo afraid of this remake?

Too many games will cell shaded Link design already. Nintendo did a more realistic looking Link before, Twilight Princess Link. And Link's design was great in Twilight Princess imo.

wonder how long will it take for King Zora to move in the remake lol

Nintendo has removed a hidden description for its new The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Switch 2 remake, that fans say pointed to a faithful update of the N64 original.

A short description of the game was spotted by eagle-eyed Nintendo followers within website code for Zelda's Switch 2 product page. But just as fans began debating its meaning online, the page's code was updated — and the description was removed.

"The N64 classic reborn as a full remake for Nintendo Switch 2," the description read. "Experience Ocarina of Time with stunning visuals, updated designs, and timeless gameplay."

Fans have suggested that the mention of timeless gameplay here signifies a general experience — your path through Hyrule and its dungeons, its puzzles and secrets — that will feel familiar to those who played the original game, rather than something that takes the original and builds upon it.

Can you think on your own? Game looks fine. It looks like the design from Space World.

Nintendo is weird. That's why. I don't think they're afraid of the remake.

Here's what I feel like with the trailer: This was cooked last-minute. I feel like Nintendo wanted to get ahead of the Nate the Hate leak and just throw it out there.

I think that this remake announcement was designed as a stealth drop announcement. I think they wanted to put this announcement in the September Nintendo Direct. How do I know this? Why would you only put "2026" when A) you HAD or HAVE a date in mind. B) The surprise is gone. Everyone knows about it, so just push a teaser out, and let them talk. Tears of the Kingdom style.

That September Nintendo Direct not only has the surprise of the game, like the Metroid Prime Remastered announcement. Trailer, here's the game, it's available now. That's what I think Nintendo intended to have.
I still hope we get some more content and they add lots more to do in the overworld.
Nintendo expended a large budget for this. This is gonna get the Resident Evil 2/Resident Evil 4 remake treatment.

Zelda fans are always bitching about how Link looks whenever a new design comes out. There's that infamous 4chan post where it criticizes the fandom flip flopping from hating then loving a design.

Wonder if they are going to add this scene in the remake like in the official manga adaptation of the original game lol
