My only wish is they flesh out the story and maintain the pacing which they will be able to do much better as it's not as time constrained. Yes the casting is not amazing but I'll overlook it all if they do this one thing right.
The internet is mad about snape but and puting the original movies on a pedestal while degrading this but I'm convinced they are not fans at all because the original moves especially from movie 4 were altered from books so much they honestly failed to capture the magic and it's a opinion that's commonly shared so I can' sus out the larpers and haters from the fans just from this.

I really don't know why they're rebooting this series but in show form. There will be people thatll still complain 8 episodes isnt enough.

They like money and want more money, that's why they're rebooting it lol. Nostalgia sells, but to be fair the films weren't really accurate to the books so maybe this show will be.

8 episodes at 50 mins I imagine is nearly three movies worth, it will be fine.
