WHAAAAT? A remake so soon? This game is a visual novel why does it need a remake it looks good as new?

I don't think it's a real remake of the series, because then they'd have started with 1. And danganronpa is the ultimate mystery game with fourth wall breaking stuff so I image it will be a bait and switch with a story branching out.
 
Maybe they didn't like how they wrote themselves into a corner with V3 and they're slowly undoing it?
 
Well I'm gonna have to tell my wife about this, she loved the first game and we both liked the anime. (I'm not a fan of visual novels so I would never play the games.)
 
BIG News. They finally explained what this will be. It's a alternative story line kind of thing where you can play the first path or the second but the initial premise and characters are the same and with one new character it looks like.....


I don't know why they didn't just make a danganronpa 4 instead of this.
