Nintendo Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time Remake

imo the N64 version played just fine. It's the only one I personally play lol
The graphics on N64 are mid. OoT for N64 didn't have the same tools the 3DS team did. Probably why everything looks more polished. You miss out on the Master Quest right? I think the 3DS version was too hand-holdy, making the harder parts too easy in the normal game, and then giving you the Master Quest just to experiment with everything placed slightly differently.

Cutscenes are fully voiced they confirmed it yay! Looks great too.
Release date November 5, 2026

and the "new" Skulltulla Spider looks great lol @Demon_Skeith

Well not exactly one on one remake imo as they said they added more dialogue too and of course fully voiced cutscenes. Also I like sheik's updated design making her more feminine looking lol

3DS is just a stripped down version of N64. Sooooo.... what's your point?
Forgot it was today, I skimmed the video a little. Game looks awesome, though I'm curious what is the point of giving a jump button.

I do hope we got lots of new content, 1 to 1 remake seems like a waste.
The jump button was already available via the backflips in later parts of the game. The game design just needed a new overhaul. If you paid attention, the swimming got an overhaul, too. Because to do swimming in the old game, is by going to the edge of the platform. This fixes a lot of things.

Because they added more features to a stripped down N64 game rather than an N64 game.

Hopefully that means Water Temple isn't hell to get through.

I was seeing the remake over the weekend when it got announced, and I saw a lot of the work being done on it, and thought it was pretty great of an update. Some people had there criticisms, especially about child Link and Zelda and all that, along with a lot of hyper definition things on their clothes and how they look, but personally I like the massive amounts of detail they added to the characters.

Edit:

Eventually I'm going to have to do my own Let's Play on TloZ, and read it from the story's beginning, and not by release date to get a better in-depth view of the series, but I would have to focus on a lot of LP's for me to get to that point.
