I wonder how well CoD will do for sales.
It'll do modestly well. It's been doing pretty well so far especially in the Early Access phase. Everyone is currently raving about how well done the campaign is.

The true test is when the game is fully released, and all the content is available. The true test is when Multiplayer is available and people have a chance to take it in. Once people figure out SBMM, oh boy. Chaos ensues. Only Activision has themselves to blame if that happens.

Microsoft will fire them. It will only take a big chunk of their sales tanking to do it.

I love Call of Duty, and I am trying my best to resist, but I can't. The game looks good, the issue is underneath the core.

Only issue is, the game is releasing around some major juggernauts, like Final Fantasy, Zelda and GTA 6. I'm willing to bet its sales will struggle to meet company goals.
