That was a wireless mic, yes. My friend who is also my mentor and a DJ, RayDawg (you can look him up on youtube, he is a fa-nominal vocalist and performer) usually has better ones but he was not the DJ at that place. The ones we work with normally are solid black and the sound quality is amazing. Yeah, good charge bases with wireless support that give clear sound without cutting out and have long ranges (we tested that one by going 3 buildings away from the lounge the mic docking bay was inside) such as that one can go anywhere from 5 hundred to over one thousand dollars with 2 mics.
