Their the same thing just different names

Mr. Pibb is cherry flavored and has a higher caffeine content and Dr. Pepper is a berry-like flavor, which is why they now make the cherry one because it wasn't before. Saying they are the same thing but with different names is like saying Coca Cola and Pepsi are the same despite Coke having a sweeter taste due to more sugar and both being by different manufacturers.
