It isn't easy to open but fixing is can be. A lighter an extra plastic if the plastic broke or it could be just slipping off the contacts. anything more then that i could only help if you are an electronics major and you would know already
Yeah, I agree with Stone's last comment. Buttons are generally an easy fix, just be sure to GENTLY open the system so you don't snip the ribbon that is made out of a material as delicate as flash paper lol
Exactly that's why I said if you trust yourself, there is always a chance to hurt more than fixed. Schematics online can help but just do it as a last resort send it to Nintendo maybe the first option needing to buy another do to bad buttons and you can't get it fixed and are going to buy another anyway .. then theres a reason to try. other wise try not to do it lol..
LOL Like Drew Carey in Robots says "Never try, never fail! That's MY motto!" Just be VERY careful of that ribbon if you try, Tech... stuff is like wax paper with copper tint on it, I swear lol
