You'll be fine then lol I used to visit FL every year for a month and loved it. I would stay in Plant City and visit Miami, Orlando, Tampa, and such. Decided to move to Lakeland because it is cheaper and not a natural disaster area (just outside of major hurricane areas) and Plant City was almost all farm land. Problem is, the cops are corrupt and the people are... "ugh"...
The only problem I have in Panama City was trying to hear myself think. I couldn't with all those people going at it with their motorcycles. They are seriously loud!
LOL All of where I live is always drunk and loud even at like 3 AM. It ticks me off. Alcohol can be bought anywhere here - even dollar stores! People here are judgmental, closed-minded, discriminatory, loud, and typically unintelligent. I can trip over the figurative bar of intelligence without lifting my feet. At first I thought it was just one or two people I met... then I learned that it is the average Floridian. :/
To me the best state I've been to is Tennessee. Its cold there and I love cold weather and there are more stuff to do there than Florida. But I got snowed in once and got bored haha but it is still better to me than Florida. And the other cool state was in Virginia.
TigressStar moved to TN from here in FL and she complains about the people there being worse than here and the constant tornadoes and storms for the area she moved to. I don't like cold weather. I grew up shoveling snow for a like 16+ car driveway my entire life. Hate the snow lol Not a fan of cold weather in general, though.
Well thats cool! haha I wouldn't like shoveling snow unless my friends helped then it would just be a blobby mess lol but I tolerate hot weather. I like it until its 100 degrees outside then I need my air condition
LOL Yeah, where I live in Florida it gets about 44 degrees in the winter in the day and about 20 at night, so not too different than spring or fall where I'm from originally lol The summer, however, gets to high 90s but that isn't even the problem; it is all direct heat. So when it is 89 out you quite literally burn in the sun in under 10 minutes and it feels like someone is holding a large magnifying glass over you. lol Humidity? Not here! Not often! lol
What I *DO* miss is thick lingering fog! I always loved fog and it felt so relaxing and soothing to me for some reason. I have seen fog maybe 4 times in the past 3 years since moving to Florida and it usually is thin and only lasts an hour or two.
I've done that when I lived up in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. I almost got into an accident at like 15 miles per hour because the fog was so thick it was like driving into a large pillow. High beams were simply reflecting off a seemingly wall-like fog. It was the only time a fog ever made me uncomfortably nervous lol
LOL My friend and I used to use those in the band. We would prepare it and test it in his room and his mother would flip out. Mind you I am talking 18+ years old.
Shoot man me and my friend got the fog machine jammed at our school dance and you could hardly get out the door for all the fog lol the teacher didn't even know it was us
