You're not authorized to use such gestures. Now that I think about it, you're not authorized to pick up that item. Or travel across that gap. Or go through that door. Or go back to a place where you could use the ability you were judt authorized to use would help get you an item.

I understood the reasoning behind using weapons. I mean, you could potentially destroy a door or shoot through a wall and both ways kill a civilian you are meant to rescue. But not using space jump, screw attack, or VARIA?

I understood with the power bombs being restricted, but the first reason given for this is "Samus Decided not to use Bombs or Power Bombs untill Adam authorized it". Before she even decided to work with him.

Because she has worked for him in the past and knows how he thinks and leads. Keep playing, you'll see. He has always been her superior officer.

One thing I've noticed is that it feels both like a sequel to Super Metroid, with all the Baby talk and a prequel to Fusion, with the travelling from navigation room to navigation room not to mention the sectors. I recognise enemies from both too.
