Metroids being cloned for military purposes is almost exactly the same as in Fusion, which I was a little dissapointed at. One thing I loved though was the Nightmare! I'd never been so pleased to see it before (it's a LOT harder when Fusion is your first Metroid game).

:3 I didn't wanna spoil it but when you said 'it won't be nightmare, but i hope it is' i was like LOLOLOL in real life. And remember, it HAS to be similar story to Fusion - it is a tie-in. It comes directly before Fusion.

That's why I didn't like it. Two games, one set after the other having near identical plot twists... It makes whichever one you play second seem repetitive and unoriginal. They could have come up with some OTHER reason for Metroids being onboard.

not exactly understanding your gripe. The game wasn't designed to be anything other than what it was; a play-through of all of the flashbacks spoke about by Samus in Fusion. It is a prequel to Fusion so people could understand and experience first hand all of the events she cried about and see her relationship with Adam for what it was. Better yet, don't think of them as separate games but the same story just cut into 2 parts.
