Well there is a month trial period that will still be active when it releases for other regions as well. You only need to use the transporter feature once if you're moving pokemon from a past gen game so I'd say it's still worth it. Also if you didn't know it's a $5 a YEARLY service so it is pretty cheap. but hey take advantage of that trial period to transfer your pokemon.

I guess that's true. I can get my female Charizard back. That was cool.

That's exactly what I'm going to do. I don't have many Pokemon to transfer. I might eventually subscribe to it..
