Yes, I would care if a smartphone or tablet can or can't be used with a controller, or keyboard and mouse for gaming. I would not buy a tablet or smartphone where it is not possible to use a gaming controller, or keyboard and mouse for gaming because even the cheapest $100 or cheaper tablets...
