Should more wired USB mouses come with a USB cable which is replaceable without opening the mouse?

I think it would be nice to have a wired USB mouse which uses a regular detachable USB cable like a Mini USB cable or Micro USB Cable to connect the mouse to the computer. If the mouse breaks, the user still have a Micro USB cable, and can buy another working mouse to connect it to the cable...

Do you think Electric cars ever can be charge with a USB cable plugged into a USB charger?

It maybe possible to someday charge cheaper low-end electric cars with a USB cable plugged into a USB charger which is plugged into a regular home wall power outlet. It may take many more hours to days to fully charge an electric car by using a USB charger because of not being powerful enough...

A lot of PC gamers also use their gaming desktop PC towers to connect a lot of things like keyboard, mouse, printer, controllers, joysticks, USB hard drives, etc. I think most PC gamers will build or buy a Gaming Desktop PC tower with a lot more USB ports than most consoles which has a few USB...

Do you still see computers which use non-USB wired keyboard and mouse?

It is less common to see computers which use non-USB wired keyboard, and mouse, but some banks, and offices still seem to use PS/2 keyboards, and mouses instead of USB wired keyboard and mouses.

Do you think the price of RAM/Memory will cost the same as USB Flash drive memory storage?

I think it will take a while for the price of 8GB of DDR4 RAM which cost about $70 to be same price as a USB 8GB Flash drive which cost about $10. But, eventually the price of 8GB of RAM maybe $10 when companies figure out how to make RAM more affordable without lowering the amount of RAM on...

Will most Laptops use one USB port for charging and data transfer like tablets?

I think some laptop makers may try to save money and space on the laptop by using the USB port for both charging and data transfer like most Android tablets and smartphones which only come with one Micro-USB or USB-C port which is used for both charging, and data transfer. I think most device...

Microsoft doesn’t think USB-C is ready for the mainstream

Even so, USB-C still seems like it ought to be de rigueur on any forward-looking laptop, especially one that is supposed to last you through college (and beyond). USB-C may not be perfect, but it’s good enough for Apple to switch over to it. Why not Microsoft? Because it’s not good enough for...

Did you wish your smartphone or tablet had a full-size USB port for plugging in a game controller

I think a full size USB port would be useful for quickly plugging in a USB game controller, keyboard, or mouse for gaming with controls. A wired controller also has less interference, or wireless lag problems which can be a problem.

Apple is replacing USB-C cables that shipped with early MacBooks

If you were an early adopter of Apple's slimmed-down MacBook, then this may apply to you. According to the company, a "limited number" of laptops sold between its launch in April of 2015 and June 2015 have USB-C cables that could fail due to an unspecified "design issue." Read More There...

Cheap USB-C Cables Could Kill Your Phone or Laptop

Benson Leung, an engineer on Google’s Pixel team, was doing God’s work by risking his Chromebook Pixel, which charges via USB-C, to test every single USB-C to USB-A cord available to general consumers. One crappy cord, and his $1500 computer would be fried. You know how this story ends right...

Do you prefer onboard, PCI, or USB network adapters like Wired Ethernet and Wi-Fi?

I prefer a PCI based Expansion card for Wired Ethernet Network or Wi-Fi because they seem to offer the most features, and I can pick the fastest PCI card for my needs. They also can look kind of cool .

    USB Killer

Ever wanted to go around and easily fry someone's motherboard? Well this Russian guy made a USB that ejects 220 Volts through the USB port and burns out anything connected to that port (which is usually the motherboard). The guy claims the USB will work on anything that has a USB port to it.
